Exchange & Cancellation Policy – Pretanshah.com

At Pretanshah, all products are handcrafted by skilled artisans. Due to the handmade nature of our products, slight variations in colour, weave, texture, or finish may occur and are a natural characteristic of handcrafted items. Such variations do not constitute defects. Screen resolution and lighting may also affect colour appearance.

This policy is framed in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and applicable e-commerce guidelines.

Order Cancellation

Cancellation by Customer

  • Orders can be cancelled only if they have not entered production or been dispatched.
  • In such cases, the full order amount will be refunded to the original mode of payment.
  • Refunds will be processed within 15 working days.

Orders once dispatched cannot be cancelled and are not eligible for refund.

Cancellation by Pretanshah

Pretanshah reserves the right to cancel any order at its discretion, including but not limited to:

  • Inability to fulfil the order
  • Pricing or product information errors
  • Orders not complying with Pretanshah policies
  • Suspected fraudulent or unauthorised transactions

In such cases, customers will be informed within a reasonable timeframe and any applicable refund will be processed within a reasonable period.

Exchange Policy

Exchange Eligibility

We offer exchange only in the following cases:

  • Size exchange (where applicable)
  • Manufacturing defect
  • Product damaged during transit
  • Product materially different from the description or images shown on www.pretanshah.com

We do not accept returns or issue refunds, except where legally mandated.

Exchange Request Process

  • Exchange requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Please email storepretanshah@gmail.com with:
    • Order number
    • Clear images/videos highlighting the issue (mandatory for damage or defect claims)

All exchange requests are subject to verification and approval by Pretanshah.

Conditions for Exchange

Once approved, the product must be returned:

  • Unused and unwashed
  • In original packaging
  • With all original tags intact
  • In saleable condition

Products showing signs of use, washing, alteration, or damage after delivery will not be eligible for exchange.

Exchange Resolution

Upon receipt and quality inspection:

  • An exchange for the same product (size) will be arranged, or
  • An alternate product of equal value will be offered, subject to availability

Shipping and processing charges are non-refundable.

Important Notes

  • Minor variations inherent to handcrafted products do not qualify as defects.
  • Made-to-order or customised products are not eligible for exchange, unless defective.
  • Pretanshah reserves the right to reject an exchange if the returned product does not meet policy conditions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Pretanshah shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from order cancellation, exchange, or use of the website.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This policy shall be governed by the laws of India, and all disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
